Hot Chocolate Cheesecake
A cheesecake with hot chocolate mix mixed in with a whipped cream topping

Preheat oven to 325

Add the cream cheese and sugar to a mixing bowl and mix using an electric or stand mixer.

Add the hot chocolate mix, cocoa powder, heavy and sour creams, and vanilla and mix until completely combined.

Add the eggs and mix in low until just combined.

Pour the batter onto the crust and place in the oven.

Cook for 45-60 minutes until edges set but middle still has a little jiggle. For me 45 was perfect.

Turn off and open the oven and let sit for 30 minutes before taking out and letting cool completely. Then cover and set in fridge overnight.

Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, an
d vanilla to a mixing bowl and beat with a whisk attachment on high until it forms a whipped cream consistency.

Spread the whipped cream evenly on top of the cheesecake

sprinkle any toppings (mini marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, chopped chocolate chips, shaved chocolate, crushed candy canes etc) on top of the whipped cream

I made this for my dads birthday. It was the first actual cheesecake ive ever made and it turned out really good. The original recipe had a homemade oreo crust that was twice as big but just used a premade chocolate crust and halved the recipe. Might add those full instructions later but you would make the pie crust with crushed oreos and butter double the recipe and bake for 75-85 minutes. Or you could get two crusts and double the recipes to the less weird measurements not sure if or how 2 cheesecakes at once would affect baking time
