General Tso’s Chicken

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into cubes.
  2. Marinate in the Greek yogurt and seasonings.
  3. Mix the flour and baking powder.
  4. Coat the chicken in the flour baking powder mixture.
  5. Air fry the chicken at 375 for 8 minutes flip the chicken then air fry another 6 minutes or however long it takes to cook on your air fryer.
  6. Add minced garlic to a large saucepan and cook for about a minute until fragrant
  7. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to the pan and stir together. Add in the sweetener and seasoning and cook for several minutes.
  8. Mix the slurry of corn starch and water and add to the sauce. Cook over medium-high heat until sauce begins to thicken.
  9. Add the chicken to the saucepan and stir until thoroughly coated.
  10. Sprinkle on sesame seeds when serving.

Note

For the flour I ended up going with a mix of all purpose flour, almond flour, oat flour, and coconut flour
