-
Roll mixture into small balls and place on a wax paper covered tray.
-
Freeze for about an hour until firm.
-
Put the chocolate chips and some coconut oil in a bowl and hit in 20 second increments and stir until chocolate becomes dippable.
-
Dip the balls in the chocolate using a fork or toothpick coating it all over then place back on the tray.
-
Sprinkle on sprinkles or chopped peanuts or melt and drizzle white chocolate over the balls
-
Put back in freezer for a few minutes to let chocolate set.
Note
These two recipes are basically the same just one has peanut butter and one has cream cheese. The peanut butter one basically tasted like crushed oreos with a secondary taste of peanut butter. I might one day see if I can make some with a higher proportion of peanut butter to oreo if that would hold up and be more like an oreo flavored buckeye.
The peanut butter ones are fine to set out since it’s just peanut butter and oreo plus the chocolate but the cheesecake one will need to be refrigerated. If you’re using cream cheese you may went to smooth the cream cheese with your beater before mixing in the oreos
