Red Velvet Ice Cream
Ingredients
Sweet Cream Base
For Red Velvet Flavor
Directions

The night before mix together the sweet cream ingredients in a stovetop pan and heat to 160 degrees stirring frequently

Place in fridge overnight or at least long enough to cool completely.

Mix in the remaining ingredients

Set up and turn on your ice cream maker (if using a prefrozen ice cream maker do not add before ice cream maker is running or it will freeze the sides)

Churn until it thickens

Place in the freezer for about an hour to continue to firm up or eat immediately
Note
The sweet cream base was just the one we used when I made this recipe others would work. The exact method for the actual freezing of the ice cream will of course be dependent on what kind of ice cream maker you’re using.
